Proven Quality - Field Tested D11N-R Undercarriage
TREK has been a North American undercarriage supplier since 1957. In 1999, TREK began an aggressive new program of undercarriage development with DaeChang Forging Co. LTD (DCF) of South Korea. Our goal is to combine the TREK experience with the DCF manufacturing talent to produce a world class product. To develop an undercarriage for the Caterpillar D11N-R crawler tractor was a key challenge. Cautiously, we have monitored the use of our initial production of D11 TREK assemblies with key dealers/customers. Today, we can share with you favorable working results of rollers (9-00) to 8000 hours and chain (7-01) approaching 5000 hours.

- TREK D11N-R chain reflect our own positive pin retention system with the latest reinforced deep hardened link and Cat type split master link. For handling ease, each side is supplied in 2 lengths (20-link & 21-link) with 2 master joints. The TREK long life track seal, special bushing heat treatment and finish, with precise assembly help maximize the lubed joint life.
- TREK D11N-R roller groups are the latest symmetrical step seal type with through hardened boron steel shells and easy check threaded shaft plug .
- TREK D11N-R segments are the late design (3 X 6T & 1 X 5T) multi-hole for retro fit on all D11 drive rings. Forged from boron steel with through hardening.
- TREK D11N-R idler groups are the latest symmetrical step seal design. The wheels are high strength single web casting with deep induction hardened wear rim.
- TREK D11N-R track guides are designed for use with our PPR track and Cat installations. Our guides are forged and heat treated for long life.
- TREK D11N-R high strength bolts and nuts, related components, and extreme service grouser shoes round out a very good package for this big Cat.
